WHAT IS VAPE?
Vaping is the inhaling of a vapor created by an electronic cigarette (e-cigarette) or other vaping device either with or without nicotine.
E-cigarettes are battery-powered smoking devices which have cartridges filled with a liquid of choice that commonly contains nicotine, flavourings, and chemicals. The liquid is heated into a vapor, which the person inhales. That’s why using e-cigarettes is called “vaping.”
You will have heard vape or eliquid called different names and seen it spelt different ways, but ultimately, its all the same thing. So the next time you hear or read vape juice, vape liquid or e-juice, you can known that its simply just e liquid at the end of the day.
One of the reasons there are so many different names for eliquid is that people have different vaping styles and sub-cultures.

WHAT IS IN E LIQUID?
Our liquids contain a maximum of 4 components:
- Propylene Glycol – PG
- Vegetable Glycerin – VG
- Flavourings
- Nicotine (if required)
PROPYLENE GLYCOL (PG)
PG is a chemical recognised as food-safe standard component fit for human consumption. It has been used within the food and medicine industries for decades.
VEGETABLE GLYCERING (VG)
Just like PG, VG is a recognised food-safe standard component and is used as a food sweetener, derived from plant oils and assists to produce the vapour when used in an electronic device.
FLAVOURINGS
As described, the flavourings provide the various flavours we have all come to know and love.
NICOTINE (if required)
Nicotine is a highly addictive substance and for that reason we do not recommend taking up vaping if you have not smoked before.
WHAT IS A SHORTFILL E-LIQUID?
Shortfill eliquids do not contain nicotine when purchased and are commonly referred to a ‘Zero Miligram’. This allows them to be sold in bottles larger than 10ml, most commonly 60ml or 120ml. The name ‘shortfill’ comes from the fact that the bottles are underfilled with eliquid.
You can expect to receive 50ml of eliquid in a 60ml bottle and 100ml in a 120ml bottle. This leaves enough room for the addition of a nicotine shot to transform the product to a nicotine-containing eliquid, usually 3mg/ml. Or alternatively, users sometimes prefer to buy Nic Salts. (dealt with in another Blog)
Shortfills are usually aimed at sub ohmvapers who use low strength eliquids and require larger volumes than a MTL vaper. This means they tend to be 70% VG or higher, although there are a number of 50/50 shortfill eliquids available too.
